I have been thinking for over a year what I wanted our classroom theme to be for the upcoming 2013-2014 year. I am only slowing switching over from my website to this new blog. Most of my energy has been focusing on my website (www.salterclassroom.wikispaces.com). However, I thought this would be a great place to begin this blog. I have had an incredible time transforming my new classroom at Sun Valley Elementary into a place where students could learn and prosper in an inviting environment. The following pictures depict the classroom that I walked into a week prior to school starting.
